The PAC foyer buzzed with activity as they offered an impressive selection of delectable treats, all priced at an irresistibly affordable $1.
The menu boasted an array of savoury and sweet delights, including succulent sausage rolls, flavourful meat pies, freshly popped popcorn, indulgent caramilk and coconut bliss balls, along with comforting hot chocolate, refreshing iced coffee, creamy iced chocolate, and an inviting variety of coffees.
Kudos to all the students involved in making the event a resounding success, and here's to many more in Term 4, filled with scrumptious delights!

Year 9 students in Ms Legg’s Food Preparation Skills class, did an AMAZING job decorating their Chocolate Mud Cake designs for their Learning Task 2 – The Art of Baking.
The attention to detail and creativity shown by the students is impressive, and it's clear that they put a lot of effort and thought into their designs!
Wildlife Fabric Pouches
Students in Ms Hovanjec’s Year 9 Community Time - Fabrics for Fauna class have been sewing fabric pouches to donate to wildlife rescue shelters.
The pouches are made from donated fabric and bed linen.
Year 9 Health Challenge Project
Congratulations to the Year 9 students who presented their health challenge project on Friday, 13 September, in the Performing Arts Theatre. They shared their work in front of families, students, and staff.
The project helped students learn more about mental and emotional health. They used different strategies over several weeks to improve their positive mental and emotional well-being.
Families and students also listened to a talk from Dr. Jodi Richardson, an expert on anxiety.
After the presentations, everyone enjoyed a morning tea and had the chance to tour the gallery showcasing the students' work.
Lillydale Lake Excursion
Tuesday 17 September
The students in Ms Smith's Year 9 Community Time - Lillydale Lake Monitoring class, decided to conduct a litter audit and collect litter at their chosen sites along the waterways.

The morning was a whirlwind of creativity as students explored the intersection of AI and art, generating stunning AI artworks that showcased their innovative ideas.
In the afternoon, the excitement continued with hands-on experiences in Virtual Reality. Here the students crafted and interacted with captivating three-dimensional art.
It was a day filled with technological wonder and artistic expression, sparking inspiration and expanding horizons for our talented students.
Year 9 Forensic Science

During the hands-on session with Ms Smith, the Year 9s engaged in observing the anatomy of the rat and understanding the biological systems at play.
Cooking for Company
Ms Marshall’s Year 10 class have been learning about the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating and how different foods fuel our bodies in different ways.
During a cooking class, they made Wellness Bowls which included some unfamiliar ingredients like chickpeas, radish and broccolini.
The vibrant colours and textures of the ingredients added a burst of freshness to the Wellness Bowls, creating a visually appealing and nutrient-rich meal and a deeper appreciation for fresh, wholesome ingredients.
