A Strong Finish!

Our students have had an impressive end to the year across a range of sporting events, showcasing teamwork, determination, and outstanding school spirit. Here’s a look at what’s been happening:

Rugby 7s Success

Our Rugby 7s teams delivered exciting performances this season.

• 16s Boys Team – A huge congratulations to the team for their fantastic win against The Grange College. Their hard work and discipline truly paid off.
• 14s Boys Team – Well done to our 14s boys who secured an impressive 2nd place finish. Their consistency and grit were on display throughout the competition.

Futsal Queensland Trip

Our futsal teams represented the school proudly at the National Futsal Championships in QLD earlier in the term, competing against some of the best teams in the country.

• Boys Team – Finished 4th in Australia, a remarkable achievement on the national stage.
• Girls Team – Earned a strong 8th place finish, demonstrating resilience and skill throughout the tournament.

A huge thank you to the staff who attended this - Ms Louden, Mr Eldridge, Ms Porter & Mr Moschetti. A massive 5 days for staff and students. The teams had such a great time and we're incredibly proud of their efforts across the tournament.

Swimming Carnival – Week 4, 2026

Get ready! Our annual Swimming Carnival will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2026 (Week 4). This is always a highlight of the school year, and we look forward to seeing students dive into the events with enthusiasm. More details will be shared as the date approaches. An event will be live over the holidays (middle of January) on Compass for parents to provide consent. 

Interschool Sport Kicks Off

Interschool sport will officially begin on Tuesday, 17 February with the Senior teams heading out for Volleyball. Students are encouraged to continue to sign up to events as there is also tennis, cricket and baseball available for Term 1 Sports.

As we wrap up the term we thank all staff for their input in sporting events across the term, the time and efforts that go into planning, coaching and preparing for these events has been huge! We hope all families enjoy their break and we look forward to another BIG year in the Academies and Sporting Teams.
