Smile Squad

Smile Squad visit term 4 2025

  1. As part of our commitment to provide the best health care for our students and staff, a number of staff will be completing First Aid Training next week and taking part in a CPR refresher.
  2. Thanks to out Charity partners who throughout 2025 have helped the HPSC Health team provide excellent care and products to our school community. Please check out their web-sites to see the great work they do.

Thanks to Smile Squad – Victorian School Dental Health programme – for visiting in term 3 and the last few weeks of term 4.

The mobile dental clinic saw a total of 79 students over their 2 visits in 2025. They offered a variety of services including, examinations, cleaning, fissure sealing, x-rays and fluoride application. In their second visit they also filled teeth cavities and repaired broken teeth. Alongside the practical treatment, there was ongoing dental hygiene education given to students that attended.

Dental Health is one of the most important issues impacting both children and adults around the world today so it was great to have the Smile Squad team on site.

We look forward to welcoming another dental service – “Teeth on Wheels” in term 2 in 2026.
