As we reach the final edition of our school newsletter for the year, we take a moment to reflect on the achievements, growth, and community spirit that have defined the past twelve months. It has been a year filled with learning, perseverance, and countless moments of pride across our classrooms, sporting fields, arts spaces, and community events.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our students for their enthusiasm and resilience, to our families for their ongoing support, and to our dedicated staff for their commitment to creating a positive and enriching school environment. Together, we have continued to build a culture of respect, learning, and working together-values that sit at the heart of everything we do.
As we look ahead, we wish all students and families a safe, restful, and enjoyable break. To those who are moving on to new pathways, we congratulate you and hope you carry forward the confidence and skills you have developed here. For those returning next year, we are excited for the opportunities and successes that await.
Thank you for being part of our school community throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year, refreshed and ready for the next chapter.
Commencement
Congratulations to all students for the positive and mature way they have approached the two-week commencement period in their new classes. It has been wonderful to see students embracing new routines, connecting with their teachers, and settling into their learning with enthusiasm and focus. Their willingness to engage, support one another, and set clear goals for the year ahead reflects the strong culture of respect and readiness within our school community. We are incredibly proud of the calm, purposeful start they have made and look forward to building on this momentum as the year continues.
End of year celebration: Year 7 8 9
Our students wrapped up the school year with a fantastic end-of-year celebration at Bounce and Braeside Park, creating a day full of energy, connection, and well-deserved fun. At Bounce, students threw themselves into the action-literally-making the most of the trampolines, dodgeball courts, high-ropes challenges, and obstacle courses. It was great to see them encouraging one another, stepping outside their comfort zones, and simply enjoying the chance to be active together after a big year of learning.
The excitement continued as we moved to the peaceful surrounds of Braeside Park, where students enjoyed lunch, outdoor games, and time to relax with friends. Whether they were kicking a football, exploring the walking tracks, or simply sitting together in the shade, the atmosphere was warm, positive and filled with a real sense of community. The day provided a perfect balance of adventure and calm, giving students the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, reflect on the year that was, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting.

Overall, it was a memorable way to close out the year, and we thank all staff and students for contributing to such a successful and enjoyable celebration.
