🌟 State-Wide Orientation Day 2026 🌟

We were delighted to welcome our incoming Year 7 students as they officially began their transition into the 2026 school year. State-Wide Orientation Day provided a wonderful opportunity for students to familiarise themselves with our school environment, meet new classmates, and begin forming the connections that will support them throughout their secondary journey.

Moving from Year 6 to Year 7 is a significant milestone—one that brings new responsibilities, new opportunities, and plenty to look forward to. Our students embraced the day with enthusiasm, and we were “six–seven-ly” excited to welcome them into our school community.

We extend our sincere thanks to our Peer Support team and Student Leaders, whose guidance and encouragement ensured a welcoming, positive, and well-organised experience for all students.

We look forward to an inspiring and memorable 2026, and we are confident our new Year 7 cohort will make it a year to celebrate. 🎉📚

Foundation students at River Gum Primary 

On Thursday 27th Nov, Year 11 English Language students had the opportunity to visit Foundation students at River Gum Primary as part of their studies of Child Language Acquisition. The students observed phonics lessons and read one:one with foundation students to observe and support their language learning. It was a great opportunity for learning together and a wonderful start to our year 11 subject.
