Hollows House- End of Year Reflection 2025
Well, here we are at the end of the 2025 school year, and what a remarkable year it has been for Hollows House. We could not be prouder of the effort, commitment and success shown by our students across every aspect of school life.
Hollows House has enjoyed outstanding achievements throughout the year. We proudly won the Swimming Sports (now 2 years in a row), achieved excellent results at the Athletics Carnival, and celebrated having the highest number of Year 12 graduates across the four houses. Our senior students were also recognised with multiple subject awards and outstanding achievements within the Year 12 cohort.
In addition, Hollows students recorded the highest number of Values nominations across all year levels, demonstrated strong growth in Learning Habits, and showed exceptional engagement in the life of the College. From the College Production of Bring It On, music concerts and 4C’s performances, to cultural events and student leadership roles within the school and at our feeder primary schools, our students have represented Hollows with pride, confidence and integrity. The list of achievements truly is endless.
We are also thrilled to congratulate our future student leaders. We warmly welcome Sudammi as our 2026 College Captain representing Hollows House- we are incredibly excited to see her lead our College and House with pride. We also congratulate Akasha, who will take on the role of Hollows House Captain for 2026. Both students will be exceptional role models for our community. We are also proud to have such a strong group of student leaders next year, which is a true testament to the way our students value leadership, service and their College community.
While 2025 has been an outstanding year of success, 2026 already promises to be even bigger. As we celebrate our achievements, it is also important to pause and reflect on personal growth. Each student brings different strengths and abilities, and we encourage everyone to continue setting goals, seeking support, and striving for their very best. The Hollows team is always here to support every student on their individual journey.
We are immensely proud of our House, our students, and the positive culture we continue to build together. We wish all families and students a safe and relaxing summer break. For those celebrating, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
From all of us in the Hollows House Team — we look forward to another outstanding year in 2026.
Go Hollows- wear blue, be true!
