OSHClub News

Week 4
What an exciting week we've had at OSHClub! Our "Passport to Play" theme continued with plenty of opportunities for children to explore different countries through cooking, creativity, games, and active play.
Our Breakfast Club started each morning with delicious options including waffles, chocolate croissants, avocado toast, pancakes, and homemade chocolate pastry twists to fuel everyone for the school day.
In Snack Squad, the children enjoyed preparing and sharing a variety of tasty afternoon treats, including cheese toasties, udon noodles, mini pizzas, sushi, and veggie burgers served with crispy hashbrowns.
This week's cooking adventures took us overseas as we baked giant Norwegian sheet pan cookies and made the famous Swedish chocolate cake, Kladdkaka. The children loved learning about these traditional recipes while building their confidence in the kitchen.
Our creative spaces were full of imagination as children built LEGO landmarks, made popsicle people, completed OSHClub country activity booklets, folded colourful origami creations, designed friendship bracelets, mixed up homemade playdough, enjoyed board game tournaments, and created lots of wonderful paintings.
There was plenty of movement and laughter outdoors too! Children kept active with games of gang-up tag, soccer, tennis, basketball, piggy in the middle, duck, duck, goose, and some friendly egg and spoon races that had everyone cheering each other on.
Thank you to all our wonderful families for another fantastic week. We can't wait to see everyone back for more fun and exciting adventures in Week 5!

Accessing After hours
For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Enrolling Your Child

Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
