Parents' Association
Connection, Information & Feedback
Beaumaris Secondary College
The BSC Parents’ Association plays a vital role in strengthening the relationship between parents and the school. Our purpose is to foster connection and communication within the school community, and we invite you to be a part of it.
Join Our Meetings
Our meetings are informal and welcoming—you are always encouraged to attend, whether regularly or just once. They provide a great opportunity to:
- Meet other parents and staff
- Share feedback and raise queries
- Obtain important updates about the school from the Principal Team
2025 Meeting Dates
- Wednesday 30 April (Social Evening & AGM), 7pm in the MCC
- Tuesday 24 June, 7pm
- Tuesday 2 September, 7pm
- Tuesday 2 December, 7pm
Join the Committee – We Need You!
We are also seeking committee members to help guide the Parents' Association throughout the year. If you are passionate about building a strong school community and would like to take on a more active role, we would love to hear from you. Committee roles involve assisting with planning events, coordinating activities and helping to shape the direction of our parent group. No prior experience is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute!
The new committee for 2025 will be elected at our AGM, to be held on Wednesday 30 April at 7.00pm. A small gold coin donation is required to become a financial member, and all members must hold a valid Working with Children Check.
Why Join the Parents' Association?
- Community Building: Connect with other families who share your commitment to our school's success.
- Impact: Your involvement directly enhances programs, events and initiatives that benefit all students.
- Personal Growth: Develop new skills, gain leadership experience and make a meaningful difference in your child’s education.
We welcome and encourage all parents and carers to participate, regardless of availability or previous volunteer experience. Any contribution is invaluable.
We Value Your Feedback
We welcome your feedback, ideas and questions. Feel free to join our meetings or reach out anytime at bscparentsassociation@gmail.com.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact at Beaumaris Secondary College. We look forward to seeing many of you at our meetings and working together to support our school community.
Warm regards
