My Pressure Washing Journey

My name is Thomas, and I'm a Year 12 student at BSC. In June last year, I decided to take a risk and start my own pressure washing business—Thomas Krist Pressure Washing. If you live in Beaumaris or Mentone, you may have seen my flyers in your mailbox. 

At first, I invested in beginner-level equipment to test the waters, but I quickly realised that the cheaper equipment was not delivering the results that I wanted. So, I made as massive investment and upgraded to commercial-grade pressure washing equipment. Since then, I've been committed to providing high-quality results at affordable prices for my customers.

After school, I am planning to expand my business across all of Melbourne.  Over the past 8 months, this business has taught me valuable skills in sales, customer service and marketing, as well as how to safely and effectively clean driveways, pool areas and more. I've learned from mentors all around the world, refining my process to ensure the best results. 

My cleaning process 

✔️I start by clearing the area to remove any obstacles

✔️I then apply a chemical treatment (after thoroughly soaking nearby plants to protect them)

✔️Then I use a professional high pressure surface cleaner to ensure an even and effective clean. 

✔️I then detail all the edges and tough stains with a high-pressure hose for a perfect result!
