Student Wellbeing
It has been another busy and positive period for Student Wellbeing at Mickleham Secondary College.
Earlier in the term, we celebrated NAIDOC Week, providing students with opportunities to learn, reflect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and achievements. A big thank you to our students and staff for their involvement in making the week a meaningful celebration across the College.
Our Let’s Talk Respect program is also drawing to a close. We would like to congratulate and thank all students who participated in the program and engaged positively with the discussions and activities. These programs play an important role in building respectful relationships and strengthening our College culture.
Looking ahead, we are also excited to have Brainstorm Productions visiting the College to deliver an engaging wellbeing and educational performance for our Year 8 students. The program will provide students with opportunities to explore important topics in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Thank you to our students, staff and families for your continued support of the wellbeing initiatives across our College.
