2025 Footy Tipping Competition

So, if you picked the favourites, you probably got 6/9 this week.  However, Raelene Hall did exceptionally well and was the only person in the competition to get 8/9 and as such is this week’s winner of the $50.  Congratulations Raelene.  We had another 11 people who also did very well and picked 7/9.

With regard to the overall leaderboard, things remain tight at the top with four people on 65 with a further five people on 64.

Round 11

Geelong v Western Bulldogs 7th v 5th

Both sides are coming off dominant wins in Round 10.  The Western Bulldogs have won the last two games played between these sides down at the Cattery.  I’m sure Bailey Smith will be looking forward to catching up with ex-teammates;

Essendon v Richmond 10th v 16th

The Dreamtime game is an annual highlight on the AFL calendar.  The last four games between these sides are evenly split 2-2 with both sides looking to bounce back from losses in Round 10;

Carlton v GWS – 11th v 8th

The last four games between these sides at Marvel Stadium are evenly split 2-2 with both sides looking to bounce back from losses in Round 10;

Hawthorn v Brisbane – 4th v 2nd

Hawthorn has won the last five games between these sides and as with the previous two games both teams lost in Round 10;

North Melbourne v Collingwood – 17th v 1st

Despite North winning in Round 10 it’s hard to see anything other than a Collingwood win;

Fremantle v Port Adelaide – 9th v 15th

Fremantle produced a big upset to win away from home in Round 10, but Port will hold no fears about playing at Optus Stadium having won the last two games between these sides at that venue;

Adelaide v West Coast – 6th v 18th

While it was great to see the Eagles win a game, can’t see them getting too close to Adelaide;

Melbourne v Sydney – 14th v 12th

A must win game for both sides if they hope to make the top eight this year. The last four games between these sides at the G are evenly split 2-2; 

St Kilda v Gold Coast – 13th v3rd

The last time Gold Coast beat St Kilda at Marvel Stadium was 2014 but despite that stat I can’t see many people tipping the Saints.
