VET Pathways & Workplace Learning Update

VET Pathways & Workplace Learning

This term is a busy one for the Careers Team, with MyPath Week, subject selections, TAFE applications, and a range of other activities underway. We’re excited about the many opportunities ahead for our students.

Industry & Enterprise

Last week, we had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Fulton Hogan workshop in Hazelmere. Students explored a range of career pathways, including Electrical, Heavy Diesel, Fabrication, Spray Painting, and roles within Civil Construction. We also attended the Perth Careers Expo, where students were introduced to a wide variety of industries and businesses—an excellent chance to broaden their understanding of potential career options.

Year 11 & 12 Workplace Learning

The general studies students should be exploring opportunities for their next placement now and should be returning their workplace learning paperwork to the Careers & VET office. Paperwork is due back today!

Please check your email for the Workplace Learning Parent Document which will answer any questions that you may have or please feel free to contact me.
