Year 10 Product Design and Technology students have been transforming recycled timber into useful and creative products.
The project has focused on sustainability, design thinking and the circular economy. Students developed design ideas, working drawings and production plans before moving into the workshop to manufacture their products.
Working with recycled timber has encouraged students to problem-solve, adapt their ideas and make the most of existing materials while developing their woodworking skills and attention to detail.
Both projects highlight the value of practical learning, creativity, sustainability and producing quality outcomes that students can be proud of.
