YEAR 9 BBQ FLIPPER PROJECT 

Year 9 students have been designing and producing their own BBQ flippers using aluminium and timber. Students began by researching existing products and developing design ideas based on function, ergonomics and appearance.

In the workshop, they have practised measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, filing, drilling and joining materials. The project has given students the opportunity to build confidence with tools while producing a practical product of their own design.
