Our Robotic Students Rise to the State Challenge
We are incredibly proud of our twenty-one students, who recently competed in the RoboCup State Competition and challenged some of the best young programmers and robotics students from across the state.
Competing at this high level was a fantastic learning experience. Our students demonstrated teamwork, creativity, problem-solving skills, and determination as they worked hard to prepare their robots and programs for the competition. They faced challenging tasks and strong competition, but they continued to support one another and give their best throughout the event.
Participating in a state-level competition is a significant achievement. It requires many hours of preparation, testing, programming, troubleshooting, and teamwork. Our students should be very proud of the commitment and effort they demonstrated.

Special congratulations to Jesse, who achieved an outstanding result by finishing as Runner-Up in his event, Secondary Rescue Line. This is a fantastic achievement against some of the strongest young robotics competitors in the state.
We congratulate all of our robotics students for representing our school with such enthusiasm, determination, and sportsmanship. You have made us very proud!

A big thank you also goes to Mr Anthony Bosisto, who offered his services as a soccer referee, Mr David Ebert, the school robotics mentor, and families who supported our students throughout their robotics journey. Your encouragement and support have played an important role in helping our students reach this high level of competition.
In October, eleven students will represent Glen Eira College at the RoboCup Junior Australia National Championships in Canberra.
