INTERACT Run for Community
Frankston Comes Together: "Run for Community" Raises Over $10,000
On Saturday 14 September, Interact led our first-ever Run for Community event. We teamed up with local Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary clubs to support Community Support Frankston (CSF), an important not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing emergency food, grocery vouchers, assistance with utility bills, and advocacy for individuals and families in the Frankston area.
This year, the cost-of-living crisis has increased the demand for CSF's help. More people are turning to them for assistance with basic necessities and financial support, which led us to raise funds for this vital cause. The event was made truly special thanks to the participation of six other amazing local clubs.
The Frankston High School Interact Team initially aimed to raise $1,000 but smashed through that figure, tripling our goal by raising well over $3,000! In total, with the collective efforts of our community, the fundraiser brought in over $10,000 in donations for CSF—an achievement we are incredibly proud of.
On behalf of CSF, we’d also like to thank everyone who donated or supported us in the lead-up to and during the event. Your support has gone directly to people who need it most in the local Frankston area. Thank you so much for helping us make a difference in our community!
