PRINCIPAL's Message

Dear Parents/Carers, Students and Friends

Thank you to the Class of 2024

Congratulations to each and every one of our Class of 2024 on reaching a significant milestone in their academic journey. From the early days of their high school experience, they have grown not only in knowledge but also as individuals, maturing into the exceptional young adults they are today.

Throughout their time, they have faced numerous challenges, both academic and personal. They’ve weathered the storms of exams, the ups and downs of friendships, and the ever-changing landscape of our world including COVID, lockdowns and remote learning. They’ve emerged from these experiences stronger, wiser, and more prepared for the adventures that lie ahead.

I would like to thank our School Captains: Molly Flanders and Molly Power, along with our Deputy Captains: Jude Katsianis and Amy Staunton for their work and leadership with other student leaders and being great role models for all of the student population. I would also like to thank all Year 12 students involved in SLC, Sports Leadership, Interact Club and our Eco Team. They have all continued to play a pivotal role in working with our student cohort and staff in further improving our great school.

I want to express my gratitude to all of our teachers and staff, and in particular, our Senior School Team: Ms Greenhill, Ms Mitchell, Ms Burgess, Mr Barbour, Ms Harvey, Ms Elrick, Mr Trickovic, Ms Caminiti, Ms Milne, Ms McIver, Ms Thomas, Mrs Bourne, Mrs Bambridge, Ms Tymms, Ms Donegan, Mrs Koning and Ms Lin who have supported and nurtured these young minds. Their dedication and hard work has played a crucial role in shaping these outstanding individuals.

Class of 2024, remember that you will always have a home here. Your school is a place that will forever celebrate your achievements and stand as a source of support whenever you need it.

Congratulations once again, and may the journey ahead be filled with endless possibilities and boundless success. Farewell, Class of 2024. We are immensely proud of you, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact you will make on the world.

French Trip

Our 2024 French Study Tour, which was the first trip to our Sister School post-COVID, was a resounding success. Thank you to Mr Chris Sutcliffe, Ms Tiff Greenhill and Ms Paige Jessulat for their efforts leading up to and during travel with our students. The highlight was the visit and time with our Sister School, Lycee Jean in Orleans, including the homestay for our students and staff, and development of lifelong friendships. We look forward to welcoming our friends from Lycee Jean to Frankston High School next year.
