Year 11 Ski Trip

Term 3, Week 3 marked the final chapter of Vermont Secondary College’s Year 11 Ski Trip. 

The adventure began with two very challenging days on the slopes, as students faced extremely strong winds and poor visibility. Despite the difficult conditions, all students demonstrated resilience, determination, and a positive attitude, embracing the opportunity to learn new skills and push themselves outside their comfort zones.

Thankfully, the weather improved significantly on Thursday and Friday, culminating in a stunning bluebird day on Friday. Students made the most of their time on the mountain, enjoying the available runs and creating lasting memories with their friends.

Overall, the trip was a fantastic success and would not have been possible without the dedication and support of our wonderful staff. A special thank you also goes to all the students who participated. They represented Vermont Secondary College with pride, maturity, and respect throughout the trip, and we were incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves. We are very grateful to have shared this experience with such an outstanding group of young people.
