NAPLAN and VCE DATA
In our previous newsletter I shared our 2026 NAPLAN data which was again outstanding across all measures.
This week I would like to share some data that demonstrates the high performance of our senior students. One way to measure school effectiveness is to track the performance of students from Year 9 NAPLAN through to VCE completion and compare the final performance in English and Mathematics subjects against the expected levels based on earlier achievement.
Our most recent data is exceptionally strong and shows continued growth from an already high base.

These results reflect the collective efforts of our whole school community, and we all deserve to be incredibly proud of what our students have achieved. I particularly want to acknowledge our classroom teachers, Leading Teachers and Learning Specialists who have been keenly focused on strengthening our curriculum design and teaching practices in alignment with the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model and our new VSC Instructional Model.
Whilst this is a significant and ongoing body of work, it is gratifying to see such strong improvements at this early stage.
STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY – FRIDAY 28th of AUGUST
Friday the 28th of August will be a student free day as we will hold a Staff Professional Development Day. The day is set aside to provide us with an opportunity to build teacher knowledge and practice relating to our recently introduced VSC Instructional Model.
