The VSC Podcast team recently recorded its very first interview with Year 10 Arts Leader, Setiya M. It was a fantastic milestone and a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved.

One of the unexpected benefits of creating the podcast has been getting to know members of the VSC community on a deeper level. Through our conversations, students have gained a greater appreciation of different cultural backgrounds, learnt a few words from other languages, and even discovered recommendations for some delicious foods from around the world.

It has also been heartwarming to witness the collaboration between students across a range of year levels as they work together towards a shared goal. This week, the team began editing and refining the first episode in preparation for its release on the Compass platform.

Looking ahead, our vision is to develop the VSC Podcast into a video podcast (vodcast). Before introducing cameras, however, we are focusing on building strong foundations in audio production, interviewing techniques, presentation skills, and developing a consistent show format. Mastering these elements first will ensure we create a high-quality experience for both our guests and audience.
