Immunisation Consent

Whitehorse City Council will be administering vaccinations for Year 7 students, and these will take place on Friday 14th Aug. The vaccinations are HPV, Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis. This is an important school-linked health program, and it relies on clear communication between the school, council and home to run smoothly and safely for students.

Families need to respond to the consent form, even if the answer is “NO” to having vaccinations. It is very important for the council to know families’ wishes, as this helps with the smooth running of the program. A timely response will support the organisation of the day and ensure the process is as clear and straightforward as possible for everyone involved.

Curtain Calls for our Year 7’s 

Our school production, Curtains, is now bringing together Year 7 students on-stage and back-stage, and we would like to send a big “Chookas” to around 35 of our Year 7’s directly everyone involved. School musicals are such a wonderful way for students to meet like-minded friends, have a great time, and build important teamwork and self-discipline skills. They also give students the chance to step out of their comfort zone, and there is nothing quite as sweet as the applause.

If your Year 7 student did not audition this time, we encourage them to keep an eye on the 2027 auditions. The production runs over two weeks, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances from Friday 14th to Sunday 22nd of August. Everyone is welcome to come and see the production, and tickets are selling out fast.
