VINNIES WINTER SLEEPOUT
On Friday 21 August, Nazareth will be hosting the annual Vinnies Winter Sleepout, an event aimed at highlighting the plight of homeless people. Students have the option to sleep inside the gymnasium, or in a 2 man tent that they need to provide.
The night will begin with soup and bread being served in the Joseph Centre at 7pm, followed by a practical activity whereby students will be engaged in creating care packages for people in need. If anyone has old toiletry bags at home that are no longer used, we welcome any donations that can be dropped off at the Resource Centre.
The rest of the evening is filled with various activities, including a prayer service. The number of students is capped at 60; the sign-up sheet is in the Resource Centre.
Students pay a $10 donation entry fee, which can be handed to Ms Douglass.
For those students and families that wish to support the cause, an online donation has been created.
💵Our goal is to raise $3000 🌟

Students who sign up to attend the Sleepout must attend a compulsory briefing on Monday 17 August at the start of lunchtime in the Wheeler Auditorium.
COMFY CLOTHES DAY👖
On the same date as the sleepout, ALL students can get involved in the Comfy Clothes Day. Students are allowed to wear appropriate comfortable clothing (tracksuit, oodies etc) for a $3 donation, which will be collected by Pastoral teachers in the morning. We hope that everyone supports this fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Beyond Blue and Mental Health.
If anyone has any questions, please come, and speak to me in the Resource Centre.
