Year 10 Civics

As part of my year 10 Civics assignment, I investigated climate change and deforestation. After learning about the impact of deforestation, I decided to take action by planting a native tree behind the school, thanks to a generous donation from Ms. Schmidtke. I would also like to thank Ms Allan for guiding me and making this happen.
Deforestation is a serious issue that affects the environment, wildlife, and even people. Australia has a global responsibility to protect its forests and contribute to sustainability. By planting trees, we help restore nature, absorb carbon dioxide, and create habitats for native species.
In a democratic society, individuals have the power to make a difference. When people take action, whether by planting trees, reducing waste, or raising awareness, they help influence others to do the same. I hope this inspires others to think about how they can help. By working together, we can help protect the environment for future generations.
Even small actions can make a difference. Planting trees helps restore the environment, and it's something simple yet effective that anyone can do. I hope this inspires others to take action too, even small things can have an impact. Whether it’s planting a tree, spreading awareness, or making more sustainable choices. Together, we can make a change!
