ARTS | Expo

Week 2 saw our annual Arts Exhibition brought to life!
Our Visual Arts, Media, Visual Communication Design, Music, and Design Technology teachers—along with student volunteers—transformed the Margaret Mace Centre Study Space and surrounding classrooms into a vibrant gallery space. This year, over 250 students proudly exhibited their artworks.
Opening Night took place on Monday, October 13, with student artists, families, and members of the local community gathering to celebrate. The evening included an awards ceremony recognising outstanding artworks from Years 7–12. Congratulations to all exhibiting students and a special well done to our award recipients on their exceptional achievements.
The success of our Arts Exhibition is made possible through the generosity of our community. This year, local sponsors contributed over $3,400 to support the event and student awards. We extend our heartfelt thanks to:
Marshall White Real Estate, Burst Branding (Lachlan Coates), Peninsula Camera House, Down the Street Café, Ivan’s Pies, Quest Frankston, Etch Sparkling, Vicinity Centres (Bayside), Atelier Art Supplies, Rotary Club of Frankston, Officeworks Frankston, JB Hi-Fi, and Scissor Printer. Your support has been instrumental in celebrating and elevating our students’ creativity and talent.
We would also like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the Frankston High School staff who made the exhibition possible:
Arts Learning Area Assistant – Lily Donovan
Visual Arts – Natalie D’Ambra, Jo Beck, Brayden Dopper, Angela Marrone, Georgie Stein
Media – Annie Griffin, Georgie Long
Visual Communication Design – Emily Vogt, Jo Beck, Brayden Dopper, Adam Martin, David Nicol
Music – Isaac Bakker
Design Technology – Matt Turner
Special thanks to Jon Christie, Ally Bailey, and Ally’s team of Food Technology volunteers for their work behind the scenes providing refreshments on Opening Night. We also sincerely thank the Principal Team and Finance Office for their continued support.
We look forward to welcoming our school community back for the 2026 Arts Exhibition!
