What parents and carers need to know
As a parent or carer, you play a key role in helping your child manage their personal information, online identity, and the content they share.
Thinking of posting a photo of your child? It’s worth pausing to consider what might be revealed. Photos and videos can unintentionally share more than you realise - like school uniforms, locations, or daily routines.
Here are a few simple ways to protect your child’s privacy online
Created by youth, shared by you
The Digital Landscape is our newest quarterly resource, developed by the eSafety Youth Council. It offers insights into what’s happening in the online world, along with practical tips and tools that young people find helpful.
We encourage you to explore it with the young people in your life and use it as a conversation starter to build safer digital habits together – making online safety a part of everyday conversation.
