PRINCIPAL's Message

Dear Parents/Carers, Students and Friends
Thank you to the Class of 2025
As they complete their final days of formal schooling at Frankton High School, I want to take a moment to congratulate the Class of 2025 on this remarkable achievement and to thank them for the lasting contribution they have made to our school community.
Reaching this point is no small feat, it represents years of dedication, perseverance, and growth. They have navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and supported one another through the many highs and lows that come with school life. In doing so, they have embodied the values that make Frankton High School such a special place: respect, responsibility, resilience, and empathy.
I would like to thank our School Captains: Blake Alford-Ryan and Callum Rae, along with our Deputy Captains: Tyra Loielo (ex Gourdouros) and Lucas Jenkins for their work and leadership with other student leaders and being great role models for all of the student population. I would also like to thank all Year 12 students involved in SLC, Sports Leadership, Interact Club and our Eco Team. They have all continued to play a pivotal role in working with our student cohort and staff in further improving our great school.
I want to express my gratitude to all of our teachers and staff, and in particular, our Senior School Team: Ms Greenhill, Ms Harvey, Ms Mitchell, Ms Burgess, Ms Milne, Mr Trickovic, Ms Rabinov, Ms Caminiti, Ms McIver, Ms Thomas, Ms Tymms, Ms Donegan, Ms Lyon, Mrs Koning and Ms Lin who have supported and nurtured these young minds. Their dedication and hard work has played a crucial role in shaping these individuals.
Congratulations once again, and may the journey ahead be filled with endless possibilities and boundless success. Farewell, Class of 2025. We are immensely proud of you, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact you will make on the world.
Japan Trip
Our 2025 Japan trip, which ran at the end of last term and into the recent school holidays, was a resounding success. Thank you to Ms Wendy Goodman, Mr Cam Heyes, Ms Yuka Mukaiyama and Mr Isaac Bakker for their efforts leading up to and during travel with our students. The highlight was the visit and time with our Sister School, Kawaguchi Kita High School, including the homestay for our students and development of lifelong friendships. We look forward to welcoming our friends from Kawaguchi Kita High School to Frankston High School next year.
Central Australia Trip
Thank you to ALL the staff who attended our recent Year 11 Central Australia Trip: Ms Jodie Burton, Ms Leonie Argiriou, Mr James Arshid, Mr James Cameron, Ms Ginger Parker, Ms Jasmine Rabinov, Ms Sienna Robson, Mrs Tina Thomas, Mr Sam Webster, and Ms Mel Westlake. The trip was a great success enjoyed by close to 80 Year 11 students who had a wonderful time experiencing our fantastic country.
