Leadership Communication

My Lord and My God

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Dear Families,

In the recent Sunday Gospel, Jesus speaks the comforting words: “I am the way, the truth and the life.” These words remind us that faith is not simply about knowing information about God, but about walking in relationship with Jesus each day and allowing His example to guide how we live, learn and care for one another.

In a world that can sometimes feel uncertain or overwhelming for children and adults alike, Jesus offers us a clear path grounded in love, compassion, forgiveness and hope. As a school community, we strive to help our students recognise that following the way of Jesus is reflected in everyday actions — showing kindness to a classmate, including others in play, persevering when learning is difficult, speaking truthfully, and acting with justice and dignity toward all people.

The Catholic identity of our school is lived not only through prayer and Religious Education lessons, but through the relationships we build and the culture we create together. We are deeply grateful for the partnership we share with families in nurturing young people who are growing not only academically, but spiritually and morally.

May we continue to walk together as a faith-filled community, trusting that Christ leads us with love and purpose.

God bless,

Kate Dourley

Car Park traffic plan update

Thank you to everyone who has increased the level of care while driving in our carpark after the recent near miss.

I remind everyone that you are expected to follow the directions of staff in Hi-Vis to stop, move or turn a particular way. I have directed them to do this to ensure safe and flowing exit and entry to the school site.

Parents who ignore staff directions repeatedly will be asked to meet with the principal to explain why they are not following the reasonable traffic plan.

Enrolments

A reminder to any parents who have siblings due to start at St Thomas The Apostle in 2027 to return enrolment forms as soon as possible.

Sibling interviews will be happening in the next few months and we look forward to getting to know our incoming Foundation students.
