Level 4

Our Grade 4 team recently held a productive Planning Day, with a special visit from some of our students. We were fortunate to welcome our Student Voice Leaders (SVLs) to part of the meeting, where they were able to be the voice for their class and share their thoughts, ideas, suggestions and advice about their learning experiences.

The SVLs spoke thoughtfully about the many things that are working well in our classrooms. They highlighted the engaging learning opportunities, collaborative activities, use of hands-on materials and ability to visit other Year 4 classes that help students feel confident and motivated to learn.

They also provided valuable feedback on areas where small changes could make learning even better. Their suggestions included ideas for learning outside, having more creative tasks and finding new ways to make learning experiences even more engaging and meaningful.

We would like to thank our SVLs for their honesty, enthusiasm and thoughtful contributions. The voices of our students play an important role in shaping the learning experiences of our Grade 4 students and we look forward to implementing many of their ideas in the future.
