As Term 3 wraps up, it’s a great time to pause and celebrate all the fantastic learning, growth and positive choices we’ve seen across our school community.

At Mitcham Primary School, our focus on SWPBS (School Wide Positive Behaviour Support) has continued to help guide the way we learn and work together each day. It’s been wonderful to see our school values of Kindness, Respect, Love of Learning and Resilience showing up everywhere — in classrooms, the yard, specialist lessons and all the little moments in between.

Kindness has been easy to spot, whether it’s students helping each other, including others in games, or offering a friendly word when someone needs it. Respect has shown up in the way students listen, follow routines and take care of their learning spaces. Our Love of Learning has really shone through, with students giving things a go, asking great questions and sticking with tricky tasks. Resilience has also stood out, with students bouncing back when things get tough and keeping on trying even when learning feels challenging.

As we move into Term 4, we look forward to continuing this positive momentum. We’re proud of the way our students are living our school values each day, and Term 3 has been a great example of what our school community can achieve together.
