Instrumental Music News 

Twenty three  of our Instrumental Music students were selected to be involved in the Northeastern Victorian Region Concert held at Hamer Hall last week. 

The students travelled into the CBD for a full day of dress rehearsals with their Orchestras and the Choir. Vermont SC students joined other selected students from throughout the region to perform pieces they had rehearsed in the lead up to the concert, to a wonderful audience in one of Melbourne's most prestigious concert halls. 

The Strings Soiree

This Wednesday, Ms. Willson and Ms. Bradley hosted the annual 'Strings Soiree' in the Music Centre to a capacity audience. The students ranging from year 7 through to VCE, performed solo,  in duos and trios. They played renditions of pieces they have been working on in their lessons over the past term. For some students , it was their very first performance outside of the regular orchestra.  

We'd like to thank all of the parents and supporters who came along to encourage our students in their musical endeavours and we congratulate all the students for a terrific night of music. Well done!
