Every year, the Koonung PFA celebrates World Teachers' Day to thank our amazing Koonung staff for their hard work and support to our students by providing a morning tea. 🥳
We ask families to provide a variety of food for the Koonung staff to enjoy, such as sandwiches, cheese platters, sausage rolls, scones, fruit etc. 😋🥧🍇

Save the date - PFA Second hand book sale - Saturday 6 December
Part of our great community is a second-hand textbook sale that happens at the end of each year. It is run by the PFA (Parents’ and Friends’ Association). It is a great opportunity to:
•Buy second-hand textbooks at a competitive prices
•Sell your child’s textbooks from previous years
•Raise much-needed funds for our school
•Volunteer to help with the sale, which gives you access to the volunteers’ pre-sale and an opportunity to get to know other parents from the school
The 2025 Second-Hand Textbook Sale will be on Saturday 6 December in A Block from 9:30 to 11:00 am. (Hint: Get there early as there is usually a long queue by opening time!)
If you have books to submit for sale, you can leave these at the Koonung administration area from Monday 1 December until 10am on Friday 5 December. We accept books from all year levels (Years 7-12) that are on the KSC booklists for 2026.We will be providing lists of books to be sold closer to the day. Further information will be provided in the school newsletter, school emails and newsfeeds.
