Cooking isn’t just about food—it’s about learning life skills, exploring creativity, and having fun! Year 9 students made delicious Nasi Goreng, Indonesian Fried Rice.
This term, our Year 9 students have been hard at work in the woodwork workshop, developing their practical skills and getting hands on with timber and the tools. It’s been a busy few months, and the results are something both students and teachers can be proud of!
Feeling cold? Our Year 9 students have you covered!
The students have been diligent in making these jumpers in their textile class. Students have been busy threading needles, mastering sewing machines, and bringing their own hoodie designs to life. As part of their Textiles unit, the students explored fabric types, garment construction, and fashion design principles before putting their skills into practice.
This gorgeous vase was created by Megan. She put a great deal of time and effort into completing her design.
We are excited to announce we will be going to Melbourne in September.
Attached is a little sneak peak of information, we are still working out the details.
Stay tuned!
On Tuesday 10th June Bairnsdale Secondary College staff and students had the pleasure of hosting Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, in a memorable visit that left students and staff inspired and proud. Our Year 9 students Gavan and Ryan did an amazing job welcoming the Governor- General to our College with a smoking ceremony.
What a way to finish the week, staff members were lucky enough to receive a delicious Bacon and Egg McMuffin cooked up by Clontarf. The boys delivered them to staff with lovely manners and a big smile!
Thankyou Clontarf
