Amedeo Modigliani was an Italian painter and sculptor who worked mainly in France. He is known for portraits in a modern style characterized by elongation of faces, necks. He was inspired by African masks. His paintings had long noses, narrow mouths, long necks, little eyes, and no smiling.

The Year 8G did a wonderful job portraying a Modigliani style to their portraits.
