HPE - Health and Physical Education Week

Celebrating National HPE Week

From September 1st – 5th, Blackburn High School proudly celebrated National Health and Physical Education (HPE) Week with a series of fun and engaging activities designed to get students and staff moving, connecting, and enjoying the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Each day brought something new, from dance sessions and take-home physical challenges to morning walk/run club, team games, and footy-themed activities. The variety ensured there was something for everyone, and the level of participation across the school was fantastic to see.

The week highlighted the many benefits of being active, boosting energy and concentration, building confidence, strengthening friendships, and of course, having plenty of fun along the way.

A huge thank you goes to our amazing Sports Captains, whose planning, leadership, and enthusiasm were central to the success of the week. Their contributions helped make HPE Week a true celebration of the importance of health, Wellbeing, and physical activity at BHS.

Well done to everyone who joined in!
