Music Soirees

Last week the annual instrumental music Soiree series took place over three nights in the music centre. Nearly ninety students attended, performing a range of solos and small ensemble items. These performances reflected hard work and, in many cases, students overcoming anxiety and nerves. Every student is to be congratulated on the work they did and their performance. These performances are a learning task for all instrumental music students and comments will be put onto Compass over the next few weeks. 

A special thank you to the instrumental music staff for their work preparing the students and attending the concerts, to David Green for taking photos, to Julie Lockhart for her stella accompanying and to the families and friends for supporting our young musicians.

Any students who missed out on attending an evening will be able to complete their task on Monday 24th August at Break 2
