Principal's Message
Dear Parent and Carers,
Each day I walk around our College and am incredibly proud of all the amazing things happening here. This issue of the Dragon e-Newsletter has once again showcased the incredible range of opportunities our students have to learn, grow, perform and prepare for their futures.
In this issue we celebrate student achievement across a broad range of activities, from classroom learning and excursions to VCE-VM mock interviews, the Australian Defence Force (ADF) careers visit, musical performances and much more. Our College is always buzzing with activity, and it is wonderful to see students embracing the many opportunities available to them, both inside and outside the classroom.
Celebrating Culture and Achievement
Last week, I had the pleasure of watching Year 10 students Jhye and Ryan perform the didgeridoo, accompanied by Matthew from our Clontarf team, at the opening of the Victorian Association of Secondary School Principals (VASSP) conference at Rydges Hotel in Melbourne.
The boys performed to a full house of Principals from across the state and did an amazing job. We could not be prouder of their achievement and the confidence they demonstrated in representing our College.
I would also like to acknowledge the dedication of our Clontarf team, who have worked consistently with Clontarf Academy students throughout the year with weekly didgeridoo lessons. These sessions not only develop students’ musical skills, but also provide valuable opportunities to connect with Country, culture and community.
100 Days Until Graduation!
It is hard to believe that our Year 12 students now have just 100 days until graduation! We celebrated this milestone this week with a fun dress-up day, providing our students with an opportunity to enjoy some well-deserved celebrations as they approach the final stages of their secondary schooling.
Our Year 12 students have also been engaging in one-on-one pathway discussions with Senior Hub staff to explore their plans for next year. These conversations are an important part of supporting students as they consider their future pathways and take their next steps beyond school.

Music Soirees
Congratulations to our Instrumental Music students and staff following three wonderful evenings of solo performances last week.
Students performed in front of family, friends and peers, and it was wonderful to see their confidence, enthusiasm and excitement as they took to the stage. I could not be prouder of every student for stepping up, sharing their talent and giving their absolute best.
Thank you to our Instrumental Music staff for supporting and preparing our students, and to all the families and members of our College community who came along to support them. It was a wonderful series of evenings. You will find more photos on the Instrumental Music page of this newsletter.
School Production
Our cast and crew of Hall of Fame are now stepping up their rehearsals, with the school production less than a month away. The students and staff are working incredibly hard, and this promises to be a stellar performance.
We look forward to seeing the production come together and, of course, sharing it with our College community. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to get your tickets, available via the 2026 School Production page in this issue and make sure you don’t miss what promises to be a fantastic show.
Finally, thank you to our College community for the ongoing support you provide to our staff and students. It is truly appreciated. The energy, enthusiasm and commitment across our College are wonderful to see, and I am incredibly proud of the opportunities our students are embracing each and every day.
