Railway Parade Road Closures, WA Student Assistance Payment, Term 2 Master Classes, July School Holiday Programs and Support Vaping Reforms 

Railway Parade Road Closures

As part of the METRONET Victoria Park-Canning Level Crossing Removal Project, Railway Parade between Treasure Road and George Street (including the shared path) will be closed until Tuesday, 4 June.

 

There will be a Traffic Controller at the intersection of Railway Parade and George Street to assist students crossing.

WA Student Assistance Payment

A reminder that the State Government is making payments of $150 for each primary school student and $250 for each secondary school student in recognition of cost of living pressures.

 

To date, just over 68 per cent of claims eligible for St Norbert College have been made. To access the payment, you will need to apply through ServiceWA by Friday, 28 June.

July School Holiday Programs

Mastermind Australia  are running a number of courses during the July school holidays to help students prepare for exams. The courses will be run at Christ Church Grammar School (first week of school holidays) and Hale School (second week of school holidays)

 

Christ Church Grammar School - Monday, 1 July to Friday, 5 July

  • ATAR revision and exam preparation for Year 11 and 12 students only (10 hours)
  • OLNA preparation (10 hours)
  • Essay writing and study skills programs for Years 7-12 students (5 hours)

 

Hale School - Monday, 8 July to Friday, 12 July

  • Essay writing and study skills programs for Years 7-12 students (5 hours)
  • Subject revision for Years 7-9 students (10 hours)
  • ATAR revision and exam preparation for Years 10-12 students (10 hours)

Support Vaping Reforms
