Students often ask me where to find new jobs, and it’s no secret that using our networks is one of the most effective ways to locate opportunities, especially for young people. However, there are a range of methods that employers use to recruit new staff.

Workplace Learning - Placement 1

Please note that Workplace Learning (WPL) Placement 1 for Year 11 and 12 students has now concluded. There will not be any WPL in Weeks 2.7 and 2.8. Students must attend school on these days. 

WPL Placement 2 will commence in Week 2.9 (Thursday) and Week 2.10 (Friday). All students will receive a confirmation email with details of their new placement. If you have any questions, please contact the WorkPrep Office.

TAFE and School Based Traineeships/Apprenticeships will continue throughout the year as per the employment contract, including Weeks 2.8 and 2.9.  If in doubt, please speak to Mrs Monica Stirling.
