Further updates on School Savings Bonus 

The School Saving Bonus is an initiative provided by the State, providing one-off support of $400 for families of Victorian government school students to help with 2025 school costs.

As most of you will have by now purchased books or uniform for the coming year, now is the opportunity to choose to allocate the credit to school activities, especially if your child is attending a camp during 2025.

For the credit to be allocated to activities, you do still need to login to the portal and indicate the amount to be spent on activities. This will then tell PSC that you wish the credit to be spent this way. Our Finance staff will then contact you via the event (once created) if you wish to use part of your $400 bonus in this way.

Just a reminder that if you have any unused credit at either Bob Stewart or Campion, this will automatically return to the school on 1 July 2025. The external supplier system will cut-off at this date. You will not be able to use your vouchers at Bob Stewart or Campion after 30 June 2025.

If you have more than one child receiving the bonus at Parkdale Secondary College, you can pool the funds together to pay for any activity. The bonus does not need to be used solely on one child. This may be especially helpful for any Camps/Excursions during 2025.

Financial Assistance

Do you hold a Health Care Card or other Concession Card?

The Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) provides payments for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. If you are a holder of a Health Care Card or other Concession Card, you may be eligible to apply for this subsidy of $225 per year for secondary school students.

Payments are made directly to the school and are deducted from the Fees which cover the camps, excursions and sport activities.

Change of contact details

Parents and guardians – please ensure that any changes to your contact details or your child’s medical details are communicated to the school via PSCstudentadmin@parkdalesc.vic.edu.au
