Kingston Division Swimming Carnival
Parkdale Secondary College continues to make waves in the swimming scene, with an outstanding performance at the Kingston Division Swimming Carnival. With 32 dedicated students competing, the team delivered exceptional results, securing multiple victories and earning the opportunity to progress to the next round.
The event, held at Oakleigh Recreation Centre saw students from across the Kingston Division battle it out in a series of intense races. We are thrilled with the students' efforts and are excited to see them take on the next challenge at the Southern Metropolitan Region Championships, where a high quality field of 14 students will represent PSC.

Parkdale Secondary College Shines at SMR Swimming Championships!
Parkdale Secondary College has once again proven its dominance in the pool, delivering an outstanding performance at the recent Southern Metropolitan Region (SMR) Swimming Championships on Monday 24th March. Our talented swimmers showcased incredible skill, and determination, bringing home an impressive haul of medals and setting new records along the way.
With fierce competition from schools across the region, Parkdale’s swimmers rose to the occasion, excelling in a variety of events, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and relays. Of the 17 events that Parkdale had representatives in, we managed an incredible 16 podium finishes!
A special congratulations goes to Maddeleine Harvey who walked away with an incredible 7 gold medals as well as 2 new records! Our relay teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork and coordination, securing 1st places in the 14 & 15 girls 4 x 50m relay, as well as the 15-16 girls medley relay. Other individual standouts included Eden Benton (Yr 7), Lachlan Waring (Yr 7) and Lillee Lynch (Yr 9), whose stellar performances contributed significantly to our overall success.
With this remarkable achievement, Parkdale Secondary College now looks forward to the State Championships, where our swimmers will take on the best in Victoria. We wish them all the best as they continue to train and strive for greatness.
