Dr Cousins and I had the pleasure of attending the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association (ICPA) State Conference in Atherton this week where we had the opportunity to connect with past, present and future parents and Old Collegians.

Friends of Boarder Parents Group

All boarding parents and carers are welcome at the next meeting of the Friends of Boarder Parents Group which will be held via Zoom next Tuesday 9 June at 7:00pm.

If you wish to attend, an agenda and Zoom link were sent via email on Monday.

End of Term

Please send through your child’s travel itinerary, if you have not already done so, to confirm airport or bus drop off. A reminder that the Boarding House will close at 4:00pm on Friday 19 June and re-open at 8:30am on Monday 13 July.

Boarding Events and Celebrations

On Tuesday evening, Youngman House invited academic staff and members of our Senior Leadership team for a BBQ dinner. Our boarders always enjoy sharing dinner and welcoming school staff into their ‘home’.

We are excited to catch up with all those attending the upcoming Luminous Lunch on Friday 12 June at the boarding table, which will be hosted by our Friends of Boarder Parents Co-ordinator, Hannah Madill, and me.

We are looking forward to welcoming Year 7 to 9 boarders from all boarding schools in Brisbane on Saturday night for a Retro Disco.
