Leadership Is More Than A Title

Our NHS VOICE students had an inspiring opportunity to develop their leadership skills with the expert support of Charles Sturt University (CSU). Through this valuable partnership, our young leaders engaged in activities and discussions centred around the core principles of character, competence, and commitment — essential qualities that define effective and authentic leadership.

The program emphasised that leadership is much more than holding a title or wearing a badge; it’s about the actions you take, the values you uphold, and the positive influence you have on those around you. As the saying goes, “Leadership is what you do, not just what your badge says.” This powerful message resonated deeply with our students, who are learning to lead with integrity, empathy, and confidence.

A huge congratulations to our Student Representative Council (SRC) members for stepping up and demonstrating true leadership in action. Their enthusiasm and dedication to serving their peers and school community set a wonderful example, inspiring others to embrace leadership roles with purpose and passion.

We are proud to see our young people develop the skills and qualities that will empower them not only within school but also in their futures as engaged, responsible citizens and leaders.

Thank you to CSU for partnering with us to support the growth and development of the next generation of leaders.

We look forward to seeing our NHS VOICE students continue to thrive and make a positive impact.
