Positive Environment 

I would firstly like to thank our Student Representative Council (SRC) members for the work they have done this year in ensuring a representation of their year levels and input into a range of areas across the college. In particular, the hard work of our College captains and vice captains- Norma Liki, Vedaant Patel, Noah Finocchiaro and Jaswanth Kadagala. They have certainly set the standard when it comes to representing the students’ interests.

With one year ending, it gives students the opportunity to put their hand up for a multitude of leadership roles next year- SRC representatives, class captains, house captains, music captains, Interact captains, cultural captains and many opportunities to participate in the running of college events. The process in selecting the representatives will occur early next year. I would encourage all students who want to represent themselves and others to put their hand up for one of the available positions. For all students who gain a leadership position in 2024, they will complete a day of leadership training run by YLead on Thursday 7th March.

Wishing all families a safe and happy Christmas and New Year break and I look forward to helping build the leadership capabilities of all students next year.
