                                                         In Our Chinese Class

We have had a wonderful start to the term, with students revising the knowledge and skills they developed in Term 2 before exploring a range of exciting new topics in Mandarin. Students have been highly engaged in interactive activities, games, songs and collaborative learning experiences that make language learning both enjoyable and meaningful.

Over the past few weeks, students have enjoyed singing Mandarin songs, counting larger numbers, telling the time, creating their own clocks and learning the names of different countries, shapes, sports and body parts in Chinese. Across all year levels, students continue to build their confidence in listening, speaking, reading Pinyin and writing Mandarin while developing a greater appreciation of Chinese language and culture.

It has been wonderful to see students embracing new challenges and taking pride in their learning. We look forward to seeing their confidence and Mandarin skills continue to grow throughout the rest of the term.
