She is always an attentive listener, making sure she understands what we are learning, and perseveres through challenging tasks until she is successful. Lyla puts up her hand to contribute to class discussions and consistently asks for clarification or support when needed. She has done an outstanding job during our literacy sessions, producing thoughtful and well-structured paragraphs for her factual recount on the history of the Aboriginal Flag. Her use of rhetorical questions and detailed supporting information has made her writing engaging and informative. It is always a pleasure to read her work. Keep up the fantastic effort, Cleo! |

He has settled into our classroom routines with a positive attitude and has shown great confidence as he starts each day. When learning a new addition strategy, he initially found it quite challenging and felt that it was too hard. However, he showed great determination by giving it another chance, carefully following each step, and successfully understanding the concept. It was fantastic to see Luka's confidence grow as he independently completed his work. Well done, Luka, for being our Student of the Week! |

He consistently shows care and consideration towards others, always willing to lend a helping hand or include his classmates.
