Training for Nepal!
On Monday, 28 October, 41 students who are heading to Nepal next November completed their first training session.
Students walked to Westerfolds Park using their navigational skills to lead the way. The students walked 13km in under three hours in perfect conditions, which was a great start to team training.

Senior VCAL Students Visit
Aged Care Facility
On Monday, 28 October our VCAL students visited Doncaster Manor’s Aged Care facility in Doncaster East.
In the morning, the VCAL students baked a range of cookies and cakes at school to take to the residents at Doncaster Manor for afternoon tea.
The VCAL students and residents spent time enjoying afternoon-tea together and sharing stories about their lives. Mrs Miller and Ziggy our school dog also came to the visit and the residents were delighted with Ziggy’s company.
The afternoon was a great success and the residents expressed their gratitude in having the VCAL students' company, mentioning they could not wait for another visit next year!
Thank you to all the VCAL students and staff who helped plan and organise this wonderful event. We look forward to seeing the residents at Doncaster Manor again in 2020.
