Leaving School Grounds

In recent weeks there have been some disappointing incidents of students leaving the school grounds without permission.

Please note that students are not permitted to leave school without a parent or guardian's written approval. This applies at recess, lunchtime or any other time during the school day. Disciplinary action will be taken for students who breach these rules and parent/guardian contact will be involved.

Students in years 10, 11 and 12 however may leave the College at the beginning of lunchtime if they have no further scheduled classes for the day. VCE students including Year 10s undertaking a VCE (Year 11) class which is cancelled should report to the VCE Centre for supervised private study if the cancelled class occurs before lunch.

We'd like to remind students that at DSC we foster a culture of respect and responsibility, and we expect these values to be upheld at all times.

Simple Steps Towards Sustainability. Our first 100 Bottles!

Thank you to everyone in our school community who has already contributed to our Sustainability Challenge by donating empty two-litre plastic bottles. 

In the last two weeks, we have amassed 100 bottles which is an excellent start! However we need many hundreds more in order to build our very own sustainable greenhouse in the Wellbeing Garden.

If every student can donate just two bottles in the next fortnight, we would be so grateful for your support! 

This is a brilliant way to not only repurpose your plastic waste but also support the school in this exciting project. 

Please drop off donated bottles in the bottle bin located just inside the Church Road fence.
