Rowing News

Congratulations Bethany and Victoria!

Bethany Zmak and Victoria Trentin were recently selected for the Victorian Rowing Pathways program eight, with the best two ergometer scores from U17 athletes across the state who nominated for state selection.

The pathways program enables talented athletes to work with the best coaches in Victoria and in non-COVID years, to compete against the best underage rowers in the country. Bethany and Victoria completed a number of training sessions, rowing out of Mercantile Rowing Club and training with other top U17 rowers from across Victoria. At the conclusion of the program, they were awarded the coveted ‘Big V’ rowing uniform. Congratulations to both Victoria and Bethany on their outstanding achievement.
