A "tempting" Assessment Task
Recently Year 8 Food Technology attempted cooking difficult recipes for their assessment tasks. All were completed successfully.

A touch of History
The talented Summer White added a touch of "pizazz" to the History Room. Summer and Kristen Simic have spent many lunch times earlier in the year doing a mural in A15 that is a stunning tribute to the ANZACS.
Congratulations Lucy!!!
Last week Year 12 student Lucy Wilson attended the Pacific Games in Adelaide. Lucy took part in the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday 5 December along with 4100 competitors.
Lucy competed in the Medley Relay coming 4th in final. She was also in the 100m Breaststroke Preliminary 2 heat coming 4th which ranked her 6th for final. Her time was 1:17.42. Lucy then competed in the 100m Breaststroke Final and came 6th with a time of 1:17.03.
Cowra High School congratulates Lucy on her outstanding achievements in the pool and looks forward to hearing about her future endeavours.

Sportsperson of the Month
The December Sportsperson of the Month is Nicole Lowe-Tarbert. Nicole was presented with her award at Assembly by Mr Johnstone. She now goes into the running for Sportsperson of the Year to be announced in July 2018. Nicole's achievements in Martial Arts were highlighted in a recent newsletter.
