JP Racing - 2025

Murray Bridge 24 hour Race
JP Racing is about to embark into untested waters! For the first time, we will be competing in the Murray Bridge 24 hour race which is part of the Australian International Pedal Prix competition.
These races based in South Australia are often filled by teams from that state with the Murray Bridge race being the ‘Grand Final’ event. 3 months ago, Jells Park along with Cranbourne West Primary School and White Hills Primary school, submitted applications to be part of this event. Only 10 Primary School teams were given permission to enter this event and we were lucky enough to be accepted along with the other two Victorian based schools.
18 students and families will travel to Murray Bridge next Thursday and Friday to compete in the event on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September. This is a full 24 hour event and the students will work together as a team to complete as many laps of the 1.7km track in the allocated time frame. There will be over 160 competing teams comprising Primary and Secondary Schools as well as adult teams.
The students and families are extremely excited to be part of this event and hopefully it can be something we continue in future years.
This opportunity would not have been possible without the financial support of our 2025 sponsors. Special mention to our Major Sponsors, as their contribution this year has funded team entry fees for this race for families, as well as the purchase of a new HPV which we will pick up while we are there. Please see the list below for a list of our 2025 sponsors and please consider them for any assistance you may need.
